Position Summary

The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for increasing dealership revenue by selling finance and insurance products to customers purchasing new and used vehicles. You will work closely with sales and management teams to ensure compliance, accurate documentation, and profitability in all finance and insurance transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with finance and insurance providers, including factory partners.
• Submit accurate documentation to secure financing approvals.
• Collaborate with sales management to ensure all customers are transitioned to the Finance & Insurance department.
• Work with Sales Managers to ensure profitability on each transaction.
• Forecast finance department goals in alignment with sales targets.
• Verify accuracy of titles, liens, taxes, and all customer paperwork.
• Ensure proper entry of customer information into dealership databases.
• Notarize documents as required and forward completed deals promptly.
• Obtain necessary licenses for insurance sales, if applicable.
• Prepare monthly reports on finance penetration and product sales.
• Keep sales management informed about current rates and new product offerings.
• Complete all required training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to move throughout the dealership facilities as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience in automotive sales preferred.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training is beneficial.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions accurately.
• Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.
